ABOUT THE WALK
The 2nd Annual CASA Walk: A Walk for Kids in Need is a family-friendly community event to support to the CASA mission. The 5K (3.1 miles) is open to students, parents, teachers, corporate teams, businesses, organizations and community members. Please join us on Saturday, May 19th at La Grange Baptist Church (1139 Commerce Parkway, La Grange, KY).
A Walk for Kids in Need:
- Fosters community awareness about child abuse and neglect
- Advocates for the prevention of child abuse and neglect
- Advocates for the health, safety and welfare of abused and neglected of children
- Fosters community awareness about the CASA mission (which is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children)
- Fosters community awareness about CASA’s need for Volunteer Advocates
- Raises operating funds for CASA
WALK REGISTRATION
Participants can pre-register online or submit a paper application. The first 100 paid registrants will receive a free t-shirt! Event-day registration begins at 8:15 am at La Grange Baptist Church. The walk begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. The event ends at 11:30 am. Online registration ends May 18 at 4:00 pm.
Online and Event-Day Registration:
$15 for youth (students ages 5 to 18)
$20 for volunteer advocates
$25 for adults
$50 for family
Pledge to make an impact.Get together with friends to register! It's a great way for the community's youth to rally with their friends and family members to raise funds and have fun for a great cause. Collect donations from friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, organizations or local businesses. Your pledge-raising helps fund advocacy services for the community's abused and neglected children who are in family court through no fault of their own. Together we can have a great impact!
VENDOR REGISTRATION
CASA invites local businesses and organizations to promote their products/services at the Walk. The vendor fee is $25 per business/organization. Vendors must complete and submit a vendor application and payment along with the application.
