How To Volunteer

If you’d like to apply to be a CASA volunteer, you can start by filling out this application (requires Adobe Reader) and mailing it to our office at 982 Eastern Parkway, Box 9 Louisville, KY 40217. After you’ve submitted your application and your references have been approved, you will be asked to meet with us for an interview. Before you can begin as a CASA volunteer, we must also complete a criminal record check, as well as child abuse and adult protection registry checks.

Once you’ve been approved as a potential CASA volunteer, you must complete 30 hours of training, including a court visit with one of our Advocacy Supervisors and a home visit, accompanied by an active CASA volunteer.
