Statement Regarding Kentucky CASA Association Audit

CASA of the River Region in Louisville applauds the call by the Board of Directors of the Kentucky CASA Association for answers to any questions posed by the circumstances of the tragic death of their former Executive Director.

The thousands of CASA volunteers across Kentucky can carry out their mission to defend the rights of abused and neglected children only if they enjoy the complete trust and support of law enforcement, the family court system, and most importantly, the citizens of our state.

It is our hope that an inquiry into the issues that lead our friends and colleagues at the KY CASA Association to make this call will result in a prompt resolution of any concerns regarding their management and governance. CASA of the River Region stands ready to assist in every way possible to achieve that resolution.

Directions to Our New Offices

Quite a few people are having trouble finding our new offices. Here are some tips for finding CASA's new casa:

We are located on the campus of Kosair Charities (982 Eastern Parkway). The campus takes up the block between Eastern Parkway, East Burnett Street, and Clarks Lane. The easiest way to find us is via the East Burnett Street entrance.

Our building is located behind the main Kosair building--across the parking lot between a large grassy field and the University of Louisville Autism Center. The physical address is 972 Eastern Parkway. As a safety precaution, the main entrance is locked during business hours. So please ring the doorbell when you arrive.
